Miriam V. Osborne-Elliott is a distinguished leader in higher education, celebrated for her innovative spirit and strong commitment to student success. With a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University and advanced studies at Harvard and Clark Atlanta University, Miriam has dedicated over 20 years to shaping educational policies and practices. She has garnered acclaim for securing over $2 million in grants benefiting the University of the Virgin Islands, where she previously served as Dean of Students and Associate Campus Administrator.
Currently, Miriam serves as Dean of Students at Chesapeake College, where she oversees student conduct, reviews and develops institutional policies in compliance with educational regulations and serves as a member of campus’s College Council. Her strategic vision and collaborative approach have transformed Chesapeake College into a source of inclusive learning and support for diverse student populations. Miriam is deeply committed to mentoring future leaders and fostering environments that empower students to thrive academically and personally.
